Intermission from the WWW3 Convention story! We had a great time doing a 50 Golem Rush on IoJ's border the other week, this my highlights video. You can view the several-hour event in it's entirety on Jujaga's Twitch.

A Nerd's Vacation: WWWC3 in Tucson, AZ
I mentioned in my post about steampunk that my husband and I were going to the Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention in Tucson, AZ. We decided to fly over a couple days early to enjoy a full day of experiencing Tucson before we concealed ourselves in a shell of sun, dust, and steampunk for the weekend.

Reviews: The Lego Movie (Spoilers After the Jump)
I've heard a lot of people compare it to Wreck-It-Ralph, but I don't believe that's an accurate comparison. Both are animated, fun for the whole family, and have a feeling of nostalgia, but The Lego Movie has a whole different feel to me overall. I can assure you that it didn't come across like a commercial for Lego's, though it might naturally cause some feelings of your inner child architect to develop. It's super funny, the music is fantastic, and the characters are all likable and well-developed.
Spoilers under the cut.

Steampunk: What it Means to Me
Some of the people reading this might be familiar with my Steampunk themed wedding. It was quite the event, and you can read the blog here.
The Steampunk community and culture has been apart of my life since at least 2009. At least knowingly, since it's been the experience of many a Steampunker that they were involved in the culture before they knew there was a culture.

Hello, World!
Every so often, words happen. And when words happen, people die.
Hopefully that won't happen here.
